Ghaziabad Girls Shine in State-Level Band Competition: Shri Thakur Dwara Balika Vidyalaya Takes First Place

Ghaziabad: Bringing pride to their district, the talented students of Shri Thakur Dwara Balika Vidyalaya have secured first place in the state-level band competition held at Rajkiya Balika Inter College, Lucknow. This prestigious event, organized by the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (Secondary Uttar Pradesh), featured the best school bands from across the state, focusing on discipline, duty, patience, and teamwork — all essential elements of education.

Impressive Victory Amidst Tough Competition

Out of 75 districts across Uttar Pradesh, only 16 teams were selected to participate in this highly competitive event. The girls’ pipe band group from Shri Thakur Dwara Balika Vidyalaya stood out with a captivating performance, surpassing their competitors and securing the top spot. Their victory has not only brought honor to their school but has also made Ghaziabad proud.

Qualifying for Zonal Level

With this win, the team has qualified for the upcoming zonal-level competition scheduled to take place in December in Lucknow. Their outstanding performance in the state competition has set high expectations for their future endeavors.

Recognition and Encouragement

The winners were awarded a trophy and certificates, recognizing their exceptional talent and hard work. To celebrate this achievement, Shri Ajay Goyal, the school’s manager, and Principal Mrs. Poonam Sharma congratulated the victorious students and their dedicated teachers. They extended their best wishes for the girls’ success in the next round of the competition.
