Free Sanitary Pad Distribution Program Held in Ghaziabad Under PM Modi’s Cleanliness Campaign

Ghaziabad: In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a free sanitary pad distribution event was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. The event, organized by Shri Aggarwal Seva Samiti and Seva Bharti, Mahanagar Ghaziabad, took place at the Royal Club in Rajnagar Residency, Rajnagar Extension.

Approximately 75 women, including sanitation workers, housemaids, and female security guards, attended the event. Over 150 sanitary pads were distributed to the women based on their needs.

Shubhra Jain from Seva Bharti educated the attendees on the benefits of using sanitary pads and proper disposal methods. She also provided detailed information on female hygiene and encouraged the women to participate in future cleanliness programs.

Representatives from Shri Aggarwal Seva Samiti, including Renuka Gupta, Rainy Aggarwal, and Nidhi Singhal, attended the event, supporting the cause and interacting with the beneficiaries.

Manoj Aggarwal, the coordinator for Seva Bharti’s distribution program in Rajnagar Extension, appealed to all residents to motivate their domestic help to participate in health and hygiene programs under the cleanliness mission. He also announced that the next sanitary pad distribution event is scheduled for August 30, 2024.

The initiative reflects the ongoing commitment to improving women’s health and hygiene in the community, fostering awareness, and ensuring access to necessary sanitary products for those in need.
