Fire Breaks Out at Mattress Showroom in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad – No Casualties Reported
Ghaziabad : A fire broke out on the first floor of a mattress showroom in the Mohan Nagar area of Ghaziabad on Sunday evening, sparking concern among local residents and businesses. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Sahibabad Police Station.
According to Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal Singh, the fire department received an emergency call regarding the blaze and immediately dispatched firefighting teams to the location. “We received the information promptly and were able to bring the fire under control within two hours,” Singh stated. “Fortunately, there was no loss of life or any injuries reported in the incident.”
Visuals from the scene showed dense smoke billowing from the showroom as fire personnel worked diligently to douse the flames. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation has been initiated.
While the swift action of the fire department prevented the blaze from spreading to adjacent properties, the incident highlights the ongoing risks posed by electrical short circuits and flammable materials commonly stored in such commercial establishments.
