Empowering Youth: Awareness Seminar on CM’s Young Entrepreneurs Development Scheme Held in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – In line with directives from the state government, an awareness seminar on the newly launched “Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan Yojana” was conducted under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh. The event, held at HLM Group of Institutions, Meerut Road, Duhai, aimed to educate and inspire youth about this innovative scheme promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
The scheme, initiated by the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises & Export Promotion Department of Uttar Pradesh, targets job creation and economic growth in the region. It offers interest-free loans up to ₹5 lakhs for eligible residents aged 21–40 who have at least an 8th-grade education and completed skill enhancement training under state or central programs.
Seminar Highlights:
- Representatives from key training institutes, including Government ITI Ghaziabad, Polytechnic Institutes, NULM, NRLM, and Kaushal Vikas Departments, actively participated.
- Officials briefed approximately 1,200 attendees about the scheme’s benefits and registration process.
- Over 500 individuals received brochures and detailed information, while 200 candidates prepared documents for online applications.
During the event, District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh and Chief Development Officer Abhinav Gopal visited registration counters, interacted with beneficiaries, and emphasized the importance of leveraging this scheme for economic empowerment.
The seminar also celebrated the beneficiaries of the “One District One Product” (ODOP) initiative, with toolkits and certificates distributed by district officials.

HLM Group Director Ajay Agarwal and Atul Jain, a prominent representative of the Iron and Merchant Industrial Organization, also participated, lending their support to this transformative initiative.
The program reflects the government’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, uplifting marginalized communities, and creating a self-sustained economic ecosystem in Ghaziabad.
