DPSG Meerut Road Unveils ‘Kala Sangam’: A Haven for Artistic Brilliance

Ghaziabad: A new milestone in artistic excellence was achieved at DPSG Meerut Road with the grand inauguration of Kala Sangam, an exclusive and much-anticipated Art Block. Designed as a beacon of creativity, Kala Sangam aspires to inspire young minds to explore, express, and elevate their artistic potential to new heights.

The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, setting a soulful tone for the occasion. This was followed by a mesmerizing choir performance and a cultural program, capturing the essence of the artistic spirit that Kala Sangam represents.

The grand unveiling was graced by Om Pathak, Chairman, DPSG Society; Niharika Pathak, Chairperson, DPSGS; and Anshul Pathak, Vice-Chairman, DPSG Society. The presence of esteemed guests, including Anita Kulkarni, Dean, IMC, Greater Noida & Director, IMS-DIA, Noida; Pt. Sanjay Vidyarthi, Dean of T-Series, Music Director; Pt. Rakesh Pathak, Assistant Director, Sahitya Kala Parishad; Subhashish Pathak, Former Cultural Ambassador in Tabla & Pakhawaj, IGCIC; Dr. Rindana Rahasya, Hindustani Classical Vocalist; and Dr. Avinash Kumar Jha, artist, AIR & Doordarshan, Assistant Professor, University of Delhi, further elevated the grandeur of the event.

In his address, Chairman Om Pathak welcomed the dignitaries and expressed his vision for Kala Sangam. He emphasized that this state-of-the-art Art Block is one of its kind in the country and would serve as a hub of imagination and boundless possibilities, where students will dream, create, and leave an artistic legacy. He also honored Anita Kulkarni, daughter of the legendary Pt. Birju Maharaj, acknowledging her as a true custodian of the rich Kathak tradition passed down by her father.

Vice-Chairman Anshul Pathak shared his excitement about the initiative, stating that he felt privileged to inaugurate such an inspiring space where creativity would flourish, and students would bring their artistic visions to life.

The highlight of the event was an impressive art exhibition, featuring a stunning collection of paintings, sculptures, and other artistic expressions created by the talented students of DPSG Meerut Road. The display reflected a dynamic fusion of imagination and skill, embodying the school’s dedication to nurturing artistic talent.
