NAS College Student Assaulted for filming of a video on campus

Meerut: A shocking incident unfolded at a NAS College, Meerut where a young man was brutally attacked for shooting a video from mobile on campus. The altercation, which occurred while he was accompanying his sister to pay her fees, escalated into a violent assault that left him injured. The incident has been captured on CCTV cameras, leading to a police investigation.

According to reports, the young man had come to the college with his sister to deposit her fees. However, trouble started when he began recording a video on his mobile phone. This act apparently raised objections from some individuals present at the scene, and a heated argument ensued.

The situation quickly escalated when individuals from the opposing side attempted to physically assault the young man, leading to a scuffle. During the altercation, derogatory remarks related to caste were allegedly hurled at him. The assailants even attempted to forcibly remove his cap while using abusive language.

The entire incident was captured by CCTV cameras installed in the college premises, providing crucial evidence for the police investigation. Upon receiving a complaint, the police have registered a case against several named and unidentified individuals involved in the altercation. Legal proceedings are underway, and action will be taken as per the law.

The Meerut Police have clarified that the incident does not have any religious connotations. It is being treated as a dispute between parties regarding the filming of a video on campus. Investigations are ongoing, and the authorities are determined to ensure justice is served.

The authorities are taking this matter seriously, and appropriate action will be taken against the perpetrators.
