Bike-Borne Criminal Arrested After Police Encounter in Ghaziabad’s Masuri Area
Ghaziabad – A dramatic police encounter unfolded near the canal on the road leading to Nahal village in Masuri, Ghaziabad. During a routine police check on the evening of December 26, a man riding a motorcycle was signaled to stop by the police. Instead of complying, the suspect opened fire on the officers and attempted to flee towards Masuri along the canal path.
As the chase ensued, the fleeing biker lost control and fell off his motorcycle. In a swift retaliatory action for self-defense, the police responded, resulting in the suspect being shot in the leg. The injured individual was apprehended and identified as Shadab, son of Rahishuddin, a resident of Kasba Masuri.
The injured Shadab was immediately transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Upon investigation, it was revealed that he has prior charges related to cow slaughter registered against him. Legal proceedings are underway following his arrest.
The Masuri Police’s swift and efficient action prevented any further escalation of the situation and ensured the suspect was brought to justice.
