All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (North Zone) Holds Annual Elections

Varanasi: The All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (North Zone) conducted its annual general meeting at the Costa Rivera Hotel in Varanasi, where elections for the upcoming year took place. The Election Officer, Vivek Agrawal, reported that a total of 31 nominations were received, including candidates from Varanasi, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Prayagraj, Agra, and Ghaziabad.

Notable nominations came from Ghaziabad, with candidates Roop Jain, Deep Gupta, and Vinod Kumar, who were elected unopposed.

During the meeting, former Chairman of the All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (North Zone), O.P. Shukla, shared insights about the previous year’s accomplishments. The former General Secretary, Puneet Kumar Singh, presented the minutes, which were unanimously approved.

For the upcoming year, Sandeep Goyal from Chandigarh was declared the Chairman, and Roop Jain from Ghaziabad was declared the General Secretary. The appointments were met with unanimous approval from the members.
