Mobile game addiction is a growing concern among adolescents. Studies have shown that excessive gaming can lead to several adverse effects, including poor academic performance, sleep disturbances, and social withdrawal. The constant need for stimulation from mobile games can also lead to increased irritability and impulsivity, making young individuals more prone to emotional outbursts and drastic actions.
Experts emphasize the importance of monitoring and regulating screen time for children and adolescents. Open communication between parents and children about the effects of gaming is crucial to prevent such tragic incidents. This heart-wrenching event has cast a pall of gloom over the entire locality, leaving the community in deep sorrow.
