Young Hearts, Grateful Minds at Dewan Public School

- Pre-Junior Prefectorial Body marks Thanksgiving Assembly with creativity and confidence
Meerut : The spirit of gratitude and responsible leadership was beautifully reflected during the Thanksgiving Assembly of the Pre-Junior Prefectorial Body (Classes 1 to 3) held at Dewan Public School on 6 February 2026.
Continuing the tradition set by the Junior and Sub-Junior Prefectorial Bodies, the youngest prefects of the school came together to express appreciation, positivity and teamwork through a thoughtfully curated morning assembly.
The programme featured short gratitude speeches by young prefects and a graceful classical dance performance, which drew warm applause from teachers and students alike. The presentations highlighted confidence, discipline and a growing sense of leadership among the young learners.
A special attraction of the assembly was the launch of the Class Magazine, showcasing original poems, short stories and creative writings by students. The magazine has been curated to nurture creative expression and strengthen writing skills at an early age.

The assembly was graced by H. M. Rout, Director, V. K. Mishra, Principal, and Neelam Mishra, Coordinator.
While addressing the gathering, the school leadership appreciated the efforts of the Pre-Junior Prefectorial Body and congratulated the students for their confident stage presence and teamwork. They encouraged the young prefects to continue nurturing values of gratitude, responsibility and excellence in their academic and personal journeys.
The Thanksgiving Assembly concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming the school’s commitment to holistic education and character building from the very foundation years.
