Sports Festival 2024 Inaugurated at College of Nursing, Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut
Meerut : The much-awaited Sports Festival 2024 was inaugurated today at the sports ground of the College of Nursing, Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut. Dr. R.C. Gupta, Principal of the Medical College, cut the ribbon and released doves to mark the grand opening of the event.
In his speech, Dr. Gupta emphasized the significant role of sports in student life, saying, “Participation in sports is crucial for developing focus, unity, and mental strength. It’s not always about winning, but the value lies in the experience of participating and striving together.”
The event was further graced by the presence of Professor S. Balamani Bose, Principal of the College of Nursing, Professor Veer Vikram Sahdev Singh, Vice-Principal, and other esteemed faculty members, who motivated students throughout the event with their encouraging words.
The Sports Festival 2024 saw enthusiastic participation from the teaching staff, students from various courses, and the college staff. The event provided an opportunity for students to showcase their skills, celebrate teamwork, and engage in healthy competition.
