Meerut: Today, amidst charged emotions and political fervor, the Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate for the Meerut-Hapur Lok Sabha seat filed his nomination, marking a significant step in his political journey.

Saradhna MLA Atul Pradhan, the SP nominee, emphasized the importance of upholding democratic principles and safeguarding the constitution as he addressed the media after filing his nomination. He highlighted the prevalent unrest in the nation and likened the current situation to an undeclared emergency, stressing the need to preserve democracy amidst challenging times.

Pradhan voiced concerns over the growing presence of lawlessness, cautioning against attempts to manipulate the media narrative. He underscored his party’s commitment to equality and justice, framing the electoral battle in Meerut as a contest between Atul Pradhan and an external candidate.
