Senior Superintendent of Police Addresses Public Grievances and Inspects Police Station in Meerut

Meerut : The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Meerut conducted a comprehensive review and grievance redressal session at Lohiyanagar Police Station during the Thana Samadhan Diwas. The SSP personally listened to the grievances of citizens, issuing directives to the concerned officials for swift and lawful action.
As part of the visit, the SSP inspected various facilities at the police station, including the records office, barracks, mess, malkhana (storehouse), lock-up, women’s help desk, and computer room. The inspection aimed to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to protocols.


In addition, the SSP reviewed pending cases and emphasized their prompt resolution. Clear instructions were issued to the station in-charge to expedite the disposal of lingering matters.
The visit also included an inspection of the under-construction police outpost within the station’s jurisdiction. The SSP assessed the progress of the construction work and provided necessary directions to accelerate the process. Furthermore, the SSP conducted an on-site survey of the proposed land for a new police station, offering key guidance for the development plan.

This proactive approach by the SSP reflects the commitment of the Meerut police to address public grievances efficiently, ensure accountability, and improve infrastructure to serve the community better.
