Residents of Raj Empire Society Hold Candlelight March to Protest Pahalgam Terror Attack

Ghaziabad, April 27, 2025 : In a powerful display of solidarity and sorrow, residents of Raj Empire Society in Rajnagar Extension organized a “Jan Aakrosh Yatra” (Public Outrage March) to protest against the recent heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 27 innocent lives were brutally taken.
Dressed in black as a mark of mourning and holding mobile phone torches to symbolize light against darkness, the residents marched in unison, demanding strict action against the perpetrators. The march began from the Raj Empire Shiva Temple, moved through Morti to the Vedantam T-point, and concluded back at Raj Empire Society.

The solemn event saw participation across all age groups, senior citizens, women, youth, and even young children- coming together to express their grief and anger. At the end of the march, participants observed a two-minute silence and prayed for peace for the departed souls.
Residents from neighboring societies like SG Grand, Brave Hearts, Gulmohar, and Fortune also joined the protest, adding their voices to the collective call for justice and national unity.
Speaking to the gathering, several participants emphasized that such barbaric acts of terror would never succeed in breaking the spirit of the Indian people and that unity and awareness are the need of the hour.
The march served as a poignant reminder that while the nation mourns its losses, its citizens remain united in their resolve against terrorism.
