Raj Nagar Extension Residents Join Hands for Flood Relief, Donate Essentials in Collaboration with Goonj

Ghaziabad. Setting an inspiring example of community service, residents of Raj Nagar Extension opened their hearts and homes to support flood-affected families across the country. In a relief camp organized at Star Rameshwaram Society, in collaboration with Goonj, hundreds of residents from dozens of societies came together to donate dry ration, medicines, clothes, toys, books, and financial assistance.

The relief camp was coordinated by Neelmani Roy, a resident of Star Rameshwaram Society. He shared that the main purpose of this initiative was to extend help to families devastated by floods in Dharali (Uttarkashi), Junagadh (Gujarat), Kota and Jodhpur (Rajasthan), as well as Mumbai and Pune (Maharashtra).

Societies including Star Rameshwaram, River Heights, Classic Residency, Aashiana Palm Court, Aura Kaymera, Himalaya Tanishq, Raj Empire, Milan Earth, Ajnara Integrity, Fortune Residency, Charms Castle, Brave Hearts, MCC Signature Heights, among others, actively participated and contributed to the noble cause. The presence of members from the Uttarakhand Samaj living in Raj Nagar Extension also added special significance to the drive.

From Goonj, an organization that has been working for years at the national level to reach millions through such relief efforts, Prem Mishra attended the camp and appreciated the overwhelming response of the residents.

The spirit of unity and compassion displayed by Raj Nagar Extension residents once again proves that when communities come together, they can create a far-reaching impact for those in dire need.
