Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – Residents of KW Srishti in Rajnagar Extension are grappling with frustration and helplessness as a prolonged power outage coupled with a non-functional diesel generator (DG) has left them in the dark. The residents, exasperated by the recurring issue, have taken to social media platforms to voice their concerns and seek urgent resolution.
The power cut, which has lasted for over an hour now, has been exacerbated by the failure of the backup DG due to overloading. This situation has become a daily ordeal for the residents, causing significant inconvenience and discomfort.
One resident expressed their frustration on social media, stating, “It’s been an hour without power, and the DG can’t handle the load. This is happening every day. The KW Group builder and the facility management have ruined the living conditions here.”

The problem, according to the residents, lies in the inadequate capacity of the DG to handle the demand during power outages. Despite repeated complaints and requests for a permanent solution, the issue persists, leading to mounting anger among the community.
A resident mentioned, “We have been facing this issue for a long time. The facility management team seem indifferent to our plight. It’s high time they take this matter seriously and provide a reliable solution.”
The facility management team have been under fire for their lack of responsiveness and failure to address the critical infrastructure issues plaguing the society. The residents have accused them of neglect and mismanagement, which has deteriorated the quality of living in the society.

As the residents continue to cope with the power disruptions, the community’s patience is wearing thin.
This incident underscores the broader issues of infrastructure and service quality in residential societies across the region. The residents of KW Srishti hope that their collective efforts will lead to a swift resolution and set a precedent for better management practices in the future.
