Plantation Program Organized at District Court Premises with Forest Department’s Support

Meerut: Under the guidance of the District Judge, with the cooperation of the Forest Department, a plantation program was organized on the occasion of the Van Mahotsav at the premises of the District Court in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The event was graced by esteemed judicial officers and dignitaries who actively participated in the tree plantation drive.

Hariram, Additional District Judge/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Meerut , informed that as per the directives of the Uttar Pradesh government and the District Judge of Meerut, the Forest Department extended its support to organize the tree plantation program on the occasion of Van Mahotsav at the District Court premises.

During the event, several judicial officers played an active role in planting saplings to contribute towards environmental conservation. The dignitaries who participated in the plantation drive were as follows:

  1. Amber Rawat, Additional District Judge, Court Number 01, Meerut
  2. Achal Narayan Saklani, Special Judge (S.C./S.T.) Act, Meerut
  3. Brajesh Mani Tripathi, Additional District Judge, Court Number 09, Meerut
  4. Ram Kishor Pandey, Special Judge (POCSO Act), Court Number 01, Meerut
  5. Ramesh, Special Judge (P.C. Act), Court Number 01, Meerut
  6. Pawan Kumar Shukla, Special Judge (P.C. Act), Court Number 02, Meerut

Additionally, Ashok Kumar Pancham, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (North), Meerut, Sunil Kumar Pancham, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (South), Meerut, Neeraj Kumar, Commercial Court Number 01, Meerut and Ved Prakash Verma, Commercial Court Number 02, Meerut, were also present during the tree plantation event.

The combined efforts of the judiciary, forest department, and other officials have set a commendable example of environmental stewardship and promoted the importance of preserving our green spaces. Such initiatives aim to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
