‘Operation Sindoor’ Raises Awareness on Civil Safety and Disaster Preparedness in Rajnagar Extension

Ghaziabad – In an era of increasing global uncertainty, Rajnagar Extension witnessed a significant step towards community resilience as the Flat Owners Federation organized a special initiative titled ‘Operation Sindoor’. The program focused on civil safety, self-defense, disaster preparedness, and first-aid awareness, aimed particularly at preparing civilians for emergency situations, including war-like scenarios.

The highlight of the event was an impactful session by Retired NSG Commando Rajbir Singh, who delivered a hands-on awareness talk. He shared practical tips on emergency evacuation, first response, and the protection of women, children, and senior citizens during crises. His address emphasized the importance of community vigilance and proactive safety training.

Local leader and Ward 50 Councillor Sumanlata Pal lent her full support to the initiative, praising the program as a much-needed effort in today’s context. “Such programs empower citizens and prepare communities for any unforeseen situation,” she remarked during her participation.


“We Cannot Rely on Ceasefires Alone”: Community Voice

Adding depth to the discussion, Federation Media Head Manoj Agrawal, who joined the session online, addressed concerns raised by a few regarding the need for such drills post-ceasefire. His response was sharp and resolute:

“One can never trust Pakistan. There should be no compromise in civil safety. Such programs must happen regularly, regardless of the presence or absence of conflict.”
