Nomination process in UP Assembly Elections Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election started from Friday. Special vigilance is being taken regarding the nomination process at the Collectorate. On one hand, there is a security cover of the police system. On the other hand, according to the rules of Covid-19, only two people have been given permission to come together. On the first day, 34 candidates reached the collectorate office to collect the nomination form.

Voting to be held on February 10

Elections are to be held on seven assembly seats in Meerut on February 10. Nomination papers will be filled from January 14 to 21. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on January 24. Nominations can be withdrawn latest by January 27. After that, the fate of the candidates who are in the fray will be decided by voting on February 10. According to the guidelines of the Election Commission, arrangements have been made for barricading, especially at the collectorate. So that there is no chaos in any way.
