Vaccination has been completed for 80 per cent of the country’s adult population and 20 million adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years. At the same time, 96.5 percent of the adult population of the country has received the first dose of the vaccine.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted on Saturday and said, “With PM Modis Sabka Prayas mantra, the country is rapidly moving towards 100% vaccination.” According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the corona vaccination campaign is progressing at a fast pace. A total of 175.03 crore doses have been administered so far. 36,28,578 doses were administered in the last 24 hours. With this, the total vaccination of the country reached 175,03,86,834. According to the Ministry of Health, 22,270 new patients have been found in the last 24 hours, with 325 deaths reported according to the Ministry of Health. The country’s active cases rose to 2,53,739. With this, the total infection increased to 4,28,02,505 and the death toll from the epidemic reached 5,11,230.
New cases remained less than one lakh for the 13th consecutive day. Night curfew ends in UP with the decrease in the cases of corona, the UP government has decided to remove the night curfew. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi said that the restriction of night curfew is lifted from Saturday itself.
