Neev Foundation Juniors Dedicate Tree to Mothers at Chaudhary Charan Singh University

Meerut: In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for nationwide environmental awareness programs, Neev Foundation, in collaboration with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, organized a unique tree-planting event. The initiative, named “A Tree in the Name of Mother,” saw participation from families and students who gathered to plant trees on the university campus.
The event aimed to instill environmental consciousness among the younger generation. For the first time, Neev Foundation’s juniors led the way, demonstrating the importance of trees. The chief guests included Vaishnavi, Ananya, and Deep from the Neev Junior Wing, along with distinguished guests like Prof. Birpal Singh, Director of Research and Development, Chief Engineer Manish Mishra from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Dr. Anuj Tyagi from Medical College Meerut, Dr. Sachin Kumar, Durgesh, and Neev Foundation’s National Coordinator, Dr. Updesh Verma.

During the event, the juniors shared their insights on pressing environmental issues such as global warming, greenhouse gases, and climate change. Prof. Birpal Singh elaborated on the “Panchamrit” initiative by Prime Minister Modi, which focuses on sustainable environmental practices.
After a thoughtful discussion, attendees pledged to inspire others to plant a tree at their homes or universities and take responsibility for its care. This pledge signifies a collective effort towards a greener and healthier environment.

Neev Foundation and Chaudhary Charan Singh University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue their collaboration on educational, health, and environmental awareness programs. This MoU ensures ongoing initiatives aimed at fostering a sustainable and conscious community.
The event was a testament to the power of community action and the pivotal role of the younger generation in leading the charge for environmental conservation.
