Meerut Police Conduct Riot Control Rehearsal to Bolster Readiness

Meerut: On December 12, 2024, the Meerut Police Line witnessed an extensive riot control rehearsal, underscoring the district’s commitment to ensuring public safety and preparedness for any emergency situations. Under the directive of senior officials, the event aimed to train and equip personnel with the strategies needed to handle potentially volatile situations effectively.
During the exercise, various riot scenarios were simulated to evaluate the police force’s readiness, coordination, and quick response capabilities.
