Meerut Police Busts Motorcycle Theft Gang, Recovers 8 Stolen Bikes

Meerut : In a major breakthrough, Medical Police Station, Meerut, has successfully busted an inter-district motorcycle theft gang, recovering eight stolen motorcycles and detaining three juvenile offenders involved in the crime.

Acting on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police, Meerut, a special operation was launched against criminal activities in the district. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (City) and Civil Lines Circle Officer, a police team from Medical Police Station conducted intensive checking at Jagriti Vihar Extension Circle.

During the operation, three juveniles were detained, and upon investigation, they confessed to stealing motorcycles from different police station areas across Meerut. The police recovered eight stolen motorcycles from their possession.

Following the confession, legal proceedings have been initiated against the juveniles under relevant sections of the law. Authorities are now working to identify any further connections of the gang and ensure that stolen motorcycles are returned to their rightful owners.

This successful crackdown is a part of Meerut Police’s ongoing drive to curb vehicle thefts and enhance public safety. The police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help in preventing such crimes in the future.
