Meerut administration today demolished shops illegally being built in the Jaganath puri area of Meerut. Factory and shops were built allegedly by occupying the park land on the behest of Mafia Baddo, The team of administrative officers, who arrived with JCB machines and police force, razed the illegal shops to the ground.
Action against the mafias is going on even in the second term of the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has come to be known as Bulldozer Baba due to the action against the mafia in Uttar Pradesh. Bulldozers have been started on illegal shops built in the park purchased from Badan Singh Baddo, carrying a prize money of 2.5 lakhs from UP Police, located in Jagannath Puri, TP Nagar.
The notorious mafia of western Uttar Pradesh is absconding after the action in the case of illegal liquor and land grabbing. On Tuesday, the Yogi Adityanath government 2.0 of Uttar Pradesh has started a campaign against the illegal occupation of mafia. In this sequence, action was taken in Meerut.
It is worth noting that the infamous liquor mafia Badan Singh Baddo had escaped from police custody in Meerut. A reward of 2.5 lakh has been announced on Badan Singh, who is absconding.
The shops were demolished by using a bulldozer
The park land in Jagannath Puri of TP Nagar is in the name of Renu Gupta, wife of Shiv Kumar, brother-in-law of councilor Rajiv alias Kale. On Tuesday, the MDA team along with the police ran a bulldozer on the shops and demolished them. Shivkumar has given this shop on rent to Kabadi Naeem of Patel Nagar. After the closure of Sotiganj, Naeem Kabadi had made his warehouse in Jagannathpuri. Naeem Kabadi is picking up his goods after the shops were demolished. Naeem Kabadi told that the shops were rented from Shivakumar only a few months back. Police station in-charge Vivek Sharma says that history-sheeter Badan Singh Baddo and his associates had illegally captured and made a bond in the name of Renu Gupta. On which shops were built illegally without permission.
Who is mafia Badan Singh Baddo
Badan Singh Baddo, a resident of Punjabipura in TP Nagar police station area of Meerut, was a minor truck driver about 26 years ago. Then, in minor incidents of assault and murderous assault, his name started appearing as the main accused. Gradually, the seriousness of his crime started increasing and Badan Singh came in contact with the infamous Sushil Mooch and Bhupendra Bafar of western Uttar Pradesh. From here onwards he continued to rose in the world of crime.
Baddo’s name is in big murders
Hundreds of cases are registered against the Badan Singh, from murder to land grabbing. He is the main accused in the murder of cable businessman Pavitra Maitreya. Baddo is also wanted in the murder of BSP district panchayat member Sanjay Gurjar in the Sadar police station area in the year 2011. Baddo has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Advocate Devendra Gurjar murder case.
