Kairana SP MLA Nahid Hasan’s Shifted to Chitrakoot Jail from Muzaffarnagar District Jail
Muzaffarnagar: Samajwadi Party MLA Nahid Hasan from Kairana in Shamli district of UP is shifted to Chitrakoot district jail. He reached Chitrakoot district jail at 11 o’clock on Wednesday. He has been shifted from Muzaffarnagar district jail to Chitrakoot on the orders of the government.
On Tuesday night, the police had shifted left the MLA from Muzaffarnagar district jail amid tight security. Nahid Hasan has been brought to Chitrakoot in a convoy of vehicles. Tight security arrangements were also in place.
Let us inform you that in the month of January, SP MLA Nahid Hasan was arrested and sent to jail in a gangster case. Nahid Hasan had contested the elections from the Kairana assembly seat on an SP ticket from jail and won. Since then he was lodged in Muzaffarnagar District Jail.
Nahid Hasan has been sent to Chitrakoot Jail on Tuesday on the orders of the government. Jail Superintendent Ashok Kumar Sagar told that the police had brought MLA Nahid Hasan to the district jail at 11 o’clock. They have been kept in a separate barrack after being admitted.
