Junior Leaders Take Charge: Army Public School Meerut Holds Inspiring Investiture Ceremony for Primary Wing

Meerut Cantt | May 9, 2025 : In a celebration of youthful promise and potential, the Junior Prefectorial Council Investiture Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm on May 9, 2025, at the Primary Wing of Army Public School, Meerut Cantt. The ceremony marked a defining moment in the academic year as 50 bright students from Classes IV and V stepped into leadership roles for the session 2025–26.

With a theme rooted in leadership, responsibility, and excellence, the event set the tone for a year driven by values, vision, and vibrancy.

A Morning of Pride and Promise

The event commenced with a spirited welcome address that paved the way for a soulful rendition of the School Prayer, the AWES Song, and the School Pledge, echoing through the assembly and instilling a deep sense of unity and purpose among the young attendees.

The occasion was graced by the dignified presence of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Reeta Gupta, Adm. Officer Lt. Col. (Retd.) Manish Sharma, and the House Mistresses of all four Houses, who together adorned the newly appointed council members with badges and sashes—a gesture that symbolizes the faith and responsibility entrusted to them.

Oath of Responsibility and Words of Wisdom

Principal Dr. Reeta Gupta administered the Oath of Office, guiding the young leaders to pledge their commitment to uphold the school’s core values of discipline, integrity, and service. In her stirring address, she emphasized the need for students to hone 21st-century skills and the art of time management in an increasingly dynamic world. “Dream big, but prepare bigger,” she urged, leaving students inspired and eager to shoulder their new roles.
