International Yoga Week Kicks Off with Enthusiasm at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut

The serene corridors of Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College (LLRMC), Meerut echoed with the spirit of wellness and discipline as the International Yoga Week commenced with great enthusiasm, in alignment with government directives promoting holistic health.
Held across multiple venues within the institution, including the College of Nursing and the MP Hall, the week-long celebration brought together students and faculty members from MBBS, paramedical, and nursing programs, all united by a shared commitment to physical and mental well-being.

The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Gyaneshwar Tank, Vice Principal of LLRMC, and Dr. S. Balamani Bose, Principal of the College of Nursing.
In the College of Nursing, renowned yoga practitioner Shri Manish Gupta led a powerful session focused on traditional yogic practices and their contemporary relevance. Simultaneously, in the MP Hall, Dr. Pradeep Yadav, senior faculty from the Pharmacy Department, guided students through a series of asanas and breathing techniques aimed at reducing stress and improving focus.
