ICSE & ISC 2025 Results Declared: Girls Outshine Boys Yet Again in a Record-Breaking Year

New Delhi | April 30, 2025 — The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially declared the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) 2025 board examination results, bringing joy and relief to lakhs of students and families across the country.

With an overall pass percentage of 99.09% for ICSE and an equally impressive 99.02% for ISC, the results reflect not only academic excellence but also the resilience and dedication of students in a post-pandemic academic environment.

Class 10 (ICSE) 2025:

The ICSE examinations, held from 18 February to 27 March, spanned 67 subjects, including 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and 1 classical language. This year saw 252,577 students appear for the exams, with girls once again outperforming boys.

  • Overall Pass Percentage: 99.09%
  • Girls: 99.37%
  • Boys: 98.84%

Class 12 (ISC) 2025:

The ISC board exams were conducted from 13 February to 5 April, across 47 subjects, including 12 Indian languages, 4 foreign languages, and 2 classical languages. Out of 99,551 students who appeared, 98,578 passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to a remarkable level.

  • Overall Pass Percentage: 99.02%
  • Girls: 99.45%
  • Boys: 98.64%
