For being stopped and harassed.”

Let us inform that actress Zaira Wasim left Bollywood in 2019. Now the actress is slowly making a comeback on Instagram. Recently the actress talked about the Karnataka Hijab controversy in a post. Zaira shared a long, detailed note on Instagram in which she criticized the hijab ban and the harassment faced by several students in Karnataka.

Zaira writes in her note, “The thinking that wearing hijab is a choice is wrong. Convenience or ignorance has led to such thinking. Hijab in Islam is not a choice but an obligation. Allah, whom she loves and whomever she loves.” She has entrusted herself, to fulfill an obligation given by her, the woman wears the hijab.”

She further writes, “As a woman I wear the hijab with gratitude and humility, I oppose this whole system. Where women are being restrained and harassed just for making a religious commitment.”

Stating that it is unjust for Muslim women to choose between education and the hijab, Zaira writes, “Heaping this prejudice against Muslim women and establishing a system where they must decide between education and the hijab or give up one There is complete injustice. You are trying to force them to make a very specific choice.”

Zaira Wasim also said that it is sad that all this is being done in the name of empowerment. “Above all, creating a mask that all this is being done in the name of empowerment, is even worse when its the exact opposite. Sad.”
