Fire Safety Mock Drill Conducted at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut

Meerut : In a proactive step to address the growing concerns over fire-related incidents, Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut, conducted a comprehensive fire safety mock drill today under the leadership of Principal Dr. R.C. Gupta. The drill was held in the PMSSY Building on campus, emphasizing preparedness and response techniques.
Anil Kumar and Vijay Kumar from the Fire Safety Department demonstrated various methods to extinguish fires and outlined critical safety protocols. The mock drill also included practical guidance from Dr. Amrendra Kumar Chaudhary, the fire safety co-nodal officer of the college, who explained strategies to control fires effectively.
The session saw active participation from Dr. Rahul Singh, nursing staff, paramedics, students, and other personnel. Dr. Chaudhary’s efforts were instrumental in ensuring the success of the drill. The drill highlighted the importance of quick response, teamwork, and awareness in managing fire emergencies.
Dr. R.C. Gupta commended the fire safety officials and all participants for their dedication and praised the event’s seamless execution. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to prioritizing safety and preparedness to safeguard lives and infrastructure.
