Federation’s General Assembly Concludes with a New Name – FRANS

Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad : On September 15, 2024, the Federation of Rajnagar Extension AOA held its General Assembly at the Ashiana Palm Court Society Club. The meeting, which lasted over an hour and a half, witnessed the participation of residents from various societies in Rajnagar Extension. Several key decisions were made during this session, shaping the future of the federation.

Federation President Sachin Tyagi announced that, as per the agenda, all prior executive meetings had been approved by the General Assembly. One of the main outcomes of the meeting was the approval of renaming the federation. The proposal to replace “AOA” (Apartment Owners Association) with “Societies” was passed unanimously. Henceforth, the organization will be known as the Federation of Rajnagar Extension Societies, or FRANS for short. The acronym, “FRANS,” was chosen as it evokes the sentiment of friendship and unity among the societies.

General Secretary Dr. Seema Sharma revealed that some minor changes had been made to the executive committee. The number of executive members has been increased from 13 to 15. Two founding members, Atul Tyagi and Monu Kumar Tyagi, have been added to the executive committee. Along with these changes, Senior Secretary Mukesh Tyagi and Media Co-Head Deepanshu Mittal stepped down from their positions voluntarily. Their roles were filled by Abhinav Tyagi as Senior Secretary and Monu Kumar Tyagi as the new Media Co-Head.

Senior Vice President Dr. Subodh Gupta informed the attendees that there were slight changes made to the federation’s Advisory Board as well. One of the founding members, Sanjeev Tyagi Advocate, was appointed as a Senior Advisor, while Hemant Tyagi, a veteran journalist, will continue as the Chief Advisor.

In his address, newly appointed Senior Secretary Abhinav Tyagi expressed his gratitude to the assembly and assured everyone of his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities. He also informed that President Sachin Tyagi will be on a brief family vacation, and during his absence, Dr. Subodh Gupta will take on the role of Acting President.

Following the formal session, the executive committee celebrated Abhinav Tyagi’s recent birthday with enthusiasm. The assembly saw notable attendees, including Vice President Chandra Prakash Gupta, Secretary Ganeshwar Ralhan, Treasurer Gagan Bhardwaj, Media Head Mohit Narayan, Women’s Cell Head Shipra Tyagi, and member Manju Gupta.

The General Assembly’s decisions have set a promising course for the federation, with a renewed focus on unity and community involvement under the banner of FRANS.
