Federation of Raj Nagar Extension AOA Plans Grand Event for World Environment Day
Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad – The Federation of Raj Nagar Extension AOA is set to celebrate World Environment Day with a grand event on June 16, 2024, Sunday. The event, much like the successful one held in 2023, will take place at the VVIP Society Club in Raj Nagar Extension.
On June 1, 2024, the executive members of the Federation reviewed the proposed event’s outline. Federation President Sachin Tyagi explained that since 2016, the Federation has been organizing such events for the welfare of the community. The first session of the event will focus on children, featuring a drawing and painting competition open to all children in the Raj Nagar Extension area.
The second session will address various issues facing the Raj Nagar Extension community. A roundtable discussion will be held, involving all available AOA officials, representatives, and Federation members. The outcomes of this discussion will be compiled into a charter, which will be signed by representatives of all stakeholders and submitted to the event’s guests and competent authorities for resolution.
Federation Vice President Dr. Subodh Gupta stated that another session will include talks by doctors on health and lifestyle, where attendees can seek clarification on their health concerns. Additionally, an MOU will be signed with Narayana Hospital Group, the event’s sponsor. This agreement will announce special and exclusive discounts for all residents of Raj Nagar Extension and Federation members.
Federation General Secretary Dr. Seema Sharma highlighted that the final session will distribute Community Excellence Awards in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. The winners of the drawing and painting competition will also be awarded, and other notable social figures from the Raj Nagar Extension area will be honored. The event will conclude with a vote of thanks and a meal.
To ensure the event’s success, Federation President Sachin Tyagi has been appointed as the event’s patron. A nine-member organizing committee has been formed, including:
