CM Yogi Adityanath Extols Arun Govil, BJP’s Meerut Hopeful, as Catalyst for Historic Change

Meerut: The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to the podium today in Meerut to rally support for the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Arun Govil contesting from the city. In a fervent speech, the CM emphasized the significance of creating history rather than merely being a part of it.

Addressing a gathering consisting of doctors, professionals, Chartered Accountants, teachers, and entrepreneurs, the CM highlighted the importance of Meerut in the narrative of progress. He stated, “In the 18th Lok Sabha, there is no room for ambiguity in front of the public. Those who brought Lord Ram to life are now going to shape the identity of Meerut.”

Drawing parallels to Arun Govil’s portrayal of Lord Ram in the iconic television series Ramayan three decades ago, the CM noted, “Just as Arun Govil breathed life into the character of Lord Ram in Ramayan with strength, today he is poised to become the identity of Meerut. Arun Govil will now create history in Meerut because Meerut isn’t just recorded in history; it continuously creates it.”

Speaking at the Subhash Chandra Bose Auditorium in Chaudhary Charan Singh University during the Educated Class Convention, the CM appealed to the public to vote for the BJP candidate, Arun Govil.

Praising the incumbent Meerut MP, Rajendra Agarwal, the CM said, “With simplicity and honesty, Rajendra Agarwal has chosen his successor, Arun Govil. Arun Govil, who gained popularity three decades ago by portraying the life of Lord Ram in Ramayan and continues to be the most-watched program even during the pandemic, is now set to become the identity of Meerut.”

Highlighting the developments in Meerut, the CM said, “Rapid rail work worth 32,000 crores is underway here. With the construction of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the people of Meerut now reach Delhi in less than an hour. The state’s first sports university is being established in Meerut. The mention of the Ganga Expressway signifies the picture of development.”

The CM further lauded the achievements of the Modi government, stating, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly won because he has demonstrated development in the country. Under the Modi government, the borders are secure, terrorism is curbed. No one had the courage to remove Article 370 before, but Prime Minister Modi did. Can SP, BSP, or Congress do the same as PM Modi?”

Asserting the transformative power of the BJP’s governance, the CM concluded, “Whether in the east, west, north, or south, there has never been a situation of ambiguity in front of the public in the 18th Lok Sabha. Development is the only narrative in front of the people. PM Modi’s victory for the third time will establish India as the world’s third-largest economy. Under his leadership, India will emerge as a global leader.”

Encouraging the public to participate in the upcoming voting on April 26 in Meerut, the CM urged everyone to embrace Arun Govil’s vision aligned with PM Modi’s.

The event witnessed the presence of BJP’s regional president Satyendra Sisodia, ministers in the state government Kapildev Agarwal and Somendra Tomar, MPs Rajendra Agarwal, and Arun Govil, along with other party officials.
