CISCE Announces ICSE and ISC Exam Results: Improvement Exams Introduced

New Delhi: The much-awaited results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for Class 10 and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class 12 were declared today by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The results were officially announced at 11 am through the board’s website channels — cisce.org and results.cisce.org. In a major change, this year, CISCE will not be releasing the ISC Class 12 Toppers List 2024 and the ICSE Class 10 Toppers List 2024, to avoid unhealthy competition among students.

In a press conference held at the board’s headquarters at Pushp Vihar, Saket, New Delhi , the results were unveiled, marking the culmination of months of anticipation and hard work for students across the country.

One notable announcement accompanying this year’s results is the discontinuation of the ICSE and ISC compartmental examinations, effective from the year 2024. However, recognizing the need for students to have opportunities for academic improvement, the CISCE has introduced improvement exams. These improvement exams allow students to enhance their marks or grades within the same examination year. Students can opt to appear for improvement exams in a maximum of two subjects.

Scheduled to take place in July 2024, the details regarding these improvement examinations will be communicated through the official website shortly. This move by the CISCE aims to provide students with a chance to strive for better academic performance and achieve their desired results.

Parents, students, and educators are encouraged to visit the CISCE website for further updates and information regarding the improvement examinations and other related matters.
