Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said That Firecracker Shops Should Be Made Away from The Population

Meerut: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday instructed to keep firecracker shops away from the population for Diwali and said that the purchase and sale of firecrackers that are sensitive to the environment and health should be discouraged. A spokesman of the state government said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a video conference with all the divisional commissioners, district magistrates, regional and regional district police chiefs, and senior officials of municipal bodies, in connection with the smooth conduct of the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festival. Gave directions.

Adityanath also directed to postpone of the organization of the Dadri fair in Ballia this year given the infection of the Lumpy virus in milch animals. The Chief Minister asked the officials to ensure that firecracker shops and Godowns are away from the population for Diwali. Also, adequate arrangements for firefighting should be made at the places where firecrackers are bought and sold. The Chief Minister said that all necessary efforts should be made keeping in view the local needs so that every festival should be held in peace and harmony.

He said that those issuing mischievous statements should deal with a policy of ‘zero tolerance. Yogi Adityanath said that due to negligence, a small incident can turn into a big controversy, in such a situation, extra vigilance is necessary. He said that senior officers like District Magistrate and SSP reached the spot without delay on the information of any untoward incident. The Chief Minister also directed the strictest action against those involved in food adulteration during festivals.
