Chaudhary Vijendra Singh Announces Grand Celebration of Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji’s Birth Anniversary

Circuit House, Meerut : In a press conference held at the Circuit House in Meerut today, Chaudhary Vijendra Singh, the National President of Lok Dal, announced that the party has resolved to celebrate the birth anniversary of the late Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji, former Prime Minister of India, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The celebrations are scheduled to take place on December 23, 2023.

Chaudhary Vijendra Singh expressed that the party is planning a grand tribute to Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji, a leader known for his commitment to the welfare of farmers. Party members will initiate a cleanliness drive in his ancestral village, Noorpur Madiya, in Hapur district, and a massive gathering is expected at the Delhi Kisan Ghat to mark the occasion.

Highlighting the visionary leadership of Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji, Chaudhary Vijendra Singh emphasized that the late leader had consistently opposed anti-farmer policies not only at the state level but also on the national stage. The upcoming celebrations aim to bring attention to the struggles faced by farmers and address issues such as electricity meters on tube wells, damage to crops by roaming animals, and assistance provisions during natural disasters.

Chaudhary Vijendra Singh also discussed Lok Dal’s plans for the 2024 elections, stating that the party will contest on all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh and will actively raise farmers’ concerns both in Lucknow and Delhi. The press conference concluded with a discussion on Lok Dal’s electoral system, where Chaudhary Vijendra Singh reiterated the party’s commitment to addressing various issues affecting farmers, including crop insurance, bank loans, and disaster relief.

The Lok Dal party aims to honor Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji’s legacy by amplifying the voices of farmers and continuing the fight for their rights and welfare.
