The crime took place in Khurja, where Adnan allegedly slit Asma’s throat, leaving her body in the Khirkhani cemetery. According to Adnan, Asma, who was married, had been in an illicit relationship with him for two and a half years. He accused her of betraying him and living off his earnings during this time.
