Some people pelted stones at the convoy of BJP candidate Maninder Pal Singh from Siwalkhas assembly seat in Chhur village. The windows of five vehicles were shattered. Police went to the spot and did investigation. Late in the evening, the SP Rural also reached the police station and inquired about the matter.
The convoy of BJP candidate from Siwalkhas seat Maninder Pal Singh was passing through Chhur village on Monday evening. During this some people pelted stones on the vehicles. Photos, videos of stone pelting went viral on internet. In the video, some people holding the RLD flag are seen pelting stones.
SP Rural Keshav Kumar said that information about the matter is being collected. The complaint has not been received yet. Action will be taken after investigation on the basis of photos and videos.
