Awareness Program for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Organized in Sarurpur Block

Meerut : An awareness program was held today in Sarurpur Block, bringing together all Anganwadi workers and helpers from the region. The event focused on educating attendees about various government schemes and essential helplines designed to support women and children.
During the program, detailed information was provided on several key initiatives, including the Sponsorship Scheme, Kanya Sumangala Yojana, and the Destitute Women Pension Scheme. Additionally, attendees were educated about critical helplines such as Child Helpline 1098, Women’s Helpline 1090, One Stop Center Asha Jyoti Kendra 181, and the Police Dial Number 112.
The event was marked by the presence of Manmohan Singh, Project Coordinator of the Child Helpline, and Naresh Kumar, a Case Worker, who offered insights into the functioning of these schemes and helplines. Anita, the Block Supervisor of Anganwadi, also participated in the program, ensuring that the Anganwadi workers and helpers were fully informed about the resources available to them.
The awareness program aimed to empower Anganwadi workers and helpers with the knowledge they need to assist the community effectively, particularly women and children, in accessing essential services and support. The initiative is expected to enhance the reach and impact of these government schemes within the Sarurpur Block, contributing to the overall well-being of the local population.
