ATS’s Interrogation Of Suspects Picked Up From Deoband Continues, Investigation On Suspicion Of Connection With Bhopal Terrorists

Saharanpur (NewsReach) : Two youths who were picked up by the Uttar Pradesh ATS on Saturday afternoon from a hostel located in Khankah locality of Deoband were also questioned on Sunday. ATS is yet to reach any conclusion. It is being told that the CDR of these suspicious youths has revealed that they used to talk in Pakistan. It was not yet clear who they were talking to.

have been living in the hostel since last year

Both the youths have been living since 12 March 2021 in Najmi Hostel located in Mohalla Khanqah. One youth is said to be a resident of Myanmar and the other a resident of Bangladesh. One of these youths had submitted his identity card to get the hostel, his name was Faizulhak resident Sulemannagar Village Attapur KV Rangareddy Telangana. Late Saturday evening, ATS IG GK Goswami had given a statement that both the youths were picked up on suspicion of anti-national activities. Both have been released.

Passport and visa expired

They has been called again for questioning on Sunday. The ATS investigation has also revealed that the passports and visas of both the youths have expired. Let us tell you that when the CDR of the mobile numbers of both of them was extracted, it was found that these youths are talking to some people in Pakistan. However, the youths say that they talk to their relatives. The ATS is also probing whether their relatives are in Pakistan or the youths are lying.

No connection with the terrorists caught in Bhopal?

In the early hours of Sunday, ATS has also arrested six terrorists from Bhopal. These terrorists are also being interrogated. There is no connection between the two youths who were suddenly picked up from Deoband and then the terrorists caught from Bhopal. ATS is also investigating this closely.
