Meerut Cantt.: On the auspicious evening of Dussehra, the students at Army Public School, Meerut cantt, enacted a skit based on the epic Ramayana in the premises of Abdul Hamid Sainik institute on 5th October 2022. Dussehra fair was organised for the armed forces and their family members in which the students presented the life of Ram, his teachings, his beliefs and its relevance even in today’s modern era.
Through the skit of Ramayana, the students attempted to reaffirm the values of truth and honesty, valour and victory. Chief guest for the evening, Major General Anupam Bhagi, VSM motivated and encouraged the students for their efforts. Brigadier Rajiv Kumar, Colonel Manish and other army officers encouraged the students with their presence.
The attempt of the students was highly appreciated by all. Principal of APS, Dr. Mrs. Reeta Gupta thanked the audience for their wholehearted support, encouragement and appreciation to the students for their stupendous performance and highlighted the message of Ramayana – the victory of good over evil, light over darkness. The program was the result of the tremendous efforts of the teachers from the Hindi department, music and dance department and the sports department.
