APS (PW) Meerut Cantt Hosts Grand Investiture Ceremony, Instilling Leadership and Values

Meerut Cantt: The Primary Wing of Army Public School (APS), Meerut Cantt, witnessed a grand Investiture Ceremony on May 9, 2024, marking the induction of its new Prefectorial Council.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address, followed by a stirring rendition of the AWES song performed by the students, setting an inspiring tone for the event.

Led by Vice Principal Santosh Dobhal, Administrative Officer Colonel Manish Kumar, and the House Mistresses, the newly appointed members of the Prefectorial Council were bestowed with sashes and badges of appointment, symbolizing their esteemed roles in the school community.

The prestigious council, comprising 44 members, saw Junior School Captain Reeyansh Dubey, Junior School Vice Captain Aariya N Dinesh, Junior Sports Captain Pankaj Kumar, and Junior Sports Vice Captain Taniya Negi leading the helm.

Administering the oath to the council, Vice Principal Santosh Dobhal, emphasized the significance of upholding the school’s values and urged the appointees to discharge their duties with unwavering integrity and dedication.

Principal Dr. Reeta Gupta enlightened the students on the importance of Time Management and cultivating 21st Century skills essential for success in life, while Head Mistress Mamta Singh extended her heartfelt congratulations to all council members and House Mistresses, urging them to uphold the school’s standards with pride.

Wing Coordinator, Preeti Tyagi, expressed her gratitude to the dedicated teachers, including Manju Singh, Sapna Pundir, Vandana Trikha, Sharad Chaudhary, Asha Sirohi, Kratima Sharma, Deepa Gupta, Anjum Baswani, and Kavita Yadav, for their pivotal role in orchestrating the successful event.

The Investiture Ceremony not only celebrated the appointment of new leaders but also instilled a sense of responsibility and commitment among the student body, fostering a culture of excellence and leadership within APS (PW), Meerut Cantt.
