’83’ pads up for television premiere ; later simultaneously release on Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar
Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh starrer 83 created a ruckus at the box office during the Corona period. People who failed to register their presence in theaters due to fear of infection, are now waiting for the film to be released on OTT. However, the makers have decided to air the film on TV before releasing it directly on the OTT platform.

The film, starring actor Ranveer Singh and actress Deepika Padukone, will have its world TV premiere on March 20 at 8 pm on Star Gold. In addition, to celebrate the nostalgia of an incredible win in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, the channel will be offering brands the chance to replay some of their memorable and iconic TV ads during the premiere. The channel says that it wants people to experience the atmosphere of 83 while sitting at home.
