Smriti Irani Attacks Akhilesh Over ‘Criminalisation’ of Politics, Says Choose BJP for Women’s Safety

Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday targeted Akhilesh Yadav in a voter dialogue in Meerut. Said that what can be expected of women and social security from the party which has given tickets to more than 38 criminals. Referring to the alleged threats made by SP candidate Adil Chaudhary, who is contesting the polls from Meerut (South), Irani said “criminalisation of politics” was the very foundation of the Akhilesh Yadav-led SP, and that it could never change. Irani took a dig at Akhilesh for his silence on videos being circulated, of SP candidates issuing threats to those who do not support them.

Smriti Irani said that the politics of SP has been running on fear. His father also says that boys make mistakes. Remember that the public will punish the SP.
