Loni Resident Injured in Delhi Blast Near Red Fort ;Recounts Terrifying Moments of Chaos and Panic

Delhi, November 8:
Among the injured in Friday’s Red Fort blast in Delhi was Dawood, a resident of Loni, Ghaziabad, who narrowly escaped death when an explosion ripped through the area near a traffic signal.
Speaking to the media from his home, Dawood described the horrifying moments of the blast. “I was on my motorcycle, heading toward Meena Market. I had just reached the red light when suddenly there was a loud explosion. Everything went blank for a few seconds, people started screaming and running in all directions,” he said.
According to Dawood, the blast caused panic across the crowded area. “Many people suffered injuries — some minor, some serious. I saw a few lying on the road motionless. It was terrifying,” he recalled, visibly shaken.
The impact of the explosion threw Dawood off his bike, injuring his leg. “My leg got hurt badly, and I couldn’t stand for a while. I sat down on the road, trying to gather myself. A few locals helped me get first aid nearby before I managed to return home,” he said.
Authorities have yet to confirm the cause of the blast, Several people, including Meerut resident Mohsin, lost their lives in the incident, while multiple others were reported injured.
Security agencies and forensic teams are combing the area to determine whether the explosion was accidental or a deliberate act. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have increased security around key landmarks and public areas following the incident.
