Ghaziabad: Indirapuram witnessed a spectacular turnout of around 20,000 people eagerly awaiting the presence of Bollywood stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel during the promotional event of the film ‘Gadar 2’. However, the excitement quickly turned to dismay for nearly 16 individuals as their mobile phones were stolen amidst the bustling crowd. The victims promptly filed FIRs at the Indirapuram Police Station.

The event, meant to bring joy and entertainment to the city, took an unexpected turn as the euphoria of seeing their favorite actors was overshadowed by the unfortunate incident of mobile theft. This incident highlights the challenges of managing large crowds during celebrity appearances and the need for enhanced security measures.

‘Gadar 2’ is based on the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, and it will see Sunny Deol assume the role of Tara Singh once again, with Ameesha as Sakeena next to him.

The film also stars Utkarsh Sharma and Luv Sinha in key roles.
