Agreement With Deloitte India To Make UP Economy $01 Trillion

Lucknow : A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Uttar Pradesh government and Deloitte India on Friday. The government had recently appointed the institution as an advisor to bring the state’s economy to $1 trillion. According to an official statement released on Friday, the contract was signed between the consulting agency Deloitte India and the Uttar Pradesh government in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The State Government has entrusted this great responsibility to Deloitte India for the prosperity of the country’s largest populous state, Uttar Pradesh, the statement said. Significantly, the Uttar Pradesh government had on July 19 decided to appoint Deloitte India as an advisor to bring the state’s economy to $1 trillion. A high-powered council of ministers meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath The decision in this regard was taken on the recommendation of the committee.

On the occasion of signing the agreement, Chief Minister Yogi said, now is the time for Uttar Pradesh, to take full advantage of its potential, Uttar Pradesh will become the most important base for the multidimensional development of the country. Yogi said that by 2027, Uttar Pradesh will become the benchmark of the policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ with a $1 trillion economy. Yogi said that within the next 90 days, Deloitte India organization should present a future action plan with a thorough deliberation after conducting a sector-wise study according to the updated situation.
